real encouragement for real homeschooling moms

in sweet remembrance

Yesterday our son Clayton and his wife Stacie lost their precious baby boy, Calvin Lewis Campbell.  In the Lord’s providence, He saw fit to take this little one to heaven before I could hold him or get to know him.

Please keep all of us in your prayers, especially in the next few days as this little one is laid to rest.  Our hearts are broken but we can say “Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Karen, My prayers are with you and your family. We visited the Baptist Church in Farmington and we heard about it there when someone requested prayer for your family. So much about a situation like this is so hard. God is good, I will be praying. Juliene

Thanks, Juliene, for your thoughts and prayers. I am still in California and miss everyone at home terribly but see God’s purposes in my being here. We continue to trust Him for his goodness and grace.

Karen - brand new listener (found you through crosswalk). So sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Peace.

Thanks to everyone for your kindnesses, notes, and prayers. I am home, the laundry is getting caught up, and we are all getting some perspective. I will be talking about some of the things the Lord has been teaching me during the past few weeks as it relates to homeschooling etc. on a podcast at the end of the month.

Jamie, welcome to the blog. I look forward to getting to know you!
